美学和诠释理解(Aesthetic and Interpretive Understanding)

培养学生的批判能力,也就是审美能力和诠释能力。
To help students develop skills in criticism, that is, aesthetic responsiveness and interpretive ability.

文化和信仰(Culture and Belief)

培养对文化传统以及人类社会信仰的理解和欣赏。
To develop an understanding of and appreciation for traditions of culture and belief in human societies.

实证和数学推理(Empirical and Mathematical Reasoning)

教育进行推理和解决问题的概念和理论工具,例如统计学,概率理论,数学,逻辑和决策理论。
To teach the conceptual and theoretical tools used in reasoning and problem solving, such as statistics, probability theory, mathematics, logic, and decision theory.
